Request a Consultation

Getting Started

How do I get started?
The easiest way to begin is by completing the Request a Consultation form. This is a simple place to share what kind of support you are looking for, ask questions, and learn more about next steps.

What happens after I submit the form?
After your inquiry is submitted, it will be reviewed and followed up on regarding fit, availability, and the next step in the process.

Do you offer a consultation?
The consultation page is the best place to begin if you are interested in services or have questions about getting started.

What if I am not sure which service is right for me?
That is completely okay. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. You can simply share what kind of support you are looking for, and the next step can be guided from there.

Services

What types of therapy do you offer?
Support may include trauma therapy, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy, polyamory and ENM therapy, individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. You can explore the Services pages to learn more.

Do you only work with people in one specialty area?
Not at all. People often reach out for support with more than one concern, such as trauma, relationships, identity, stress, anxiety, or life transitions.

Can I reach out even if I am not sure how to describe what I need?
Yes. You do not need to have the perfect words before getting started. Reaching out can simply be the first step.

Is therapy only for serious crises?
No. Therapy can be helpful for many different reasons, including stress, transitions, relationship concerns, emotional overwhelm, identity exploration, communication challenges, and healing from painful experiences.

Availability

Are sessions online or in person?
We're offering online and in-person therapy across Massachusetts.

Do you offer therapy throughout Massachusetts?
Yes. Online therapy is currently available for clients across Massachusetts.

Are in-person sessions available now?
In-person sessions are planned for the future as office preparations are completed.

Insurance & Fees

Do you accept insurance?
Insurance participation may vary. For the most current information about accepted plans and coverage, please reach out directly or visit the Insurance & Fees page.

What if my insurance is not accepted?
You may still have the option to use self-pay or explore whether your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits.

Can I use out-of-network benefits?
Depending on your plan, you may be able to submit documentation to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual benefits.

When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

Where can I learn more about cost and coverage?
The Insurance & Fees page provides general information to help you understand your options before getting started.

What to Expect

What is the first session like?
The first steps are typically focused on getting a better understanding of what brings you to therapy, what kind of support you are looking for, and what your goals may be.

Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on before starting?
No. Many people begin therapy with questions, uncertainty, or a general sense that they need support. Therapy can help create clarity over time.

What if I feel nervous about starting therapy?
That is very common. Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, and it is okay to take that first step before you feel fully ready.

What if I have had a negative therapy experience before?
A different therapy experience may still be possible. A supportive and respectful space can make a meaningful difference in how therapy feels.

Practical Questions

Do you offer direct online scheduling?
At this time, getting started begins through the consultation form rather than public online self-scheduling.

Can I use the consultation form to ask a question instead of requesting an appointment?
Yes. The form can also be used to ask practical questions about services, insurance, fees, or availability.

Is the consultation form the best contact method?
Yes. The Request a Consultation page is currently the main place for new inquiries and practical questions.
